The Build – Part 5
This short segment revolves around the assembly of the chassis and plastic side plates. We will also be attaching the center bulkhead and center differential.
Build Notes:
Have some threadlock ready for the screws that go into the chassis. This will prevent them from backing out when out on the trails.
Attach the plastic chassis rails to the main chassis plate. Use a dab of loctite on the screws to prevent them from backing out.
Place the lower plastic gear cover in place and attach both of the center differential bulkhead pieces. Snug the screws up; do not overtighten. Overtightening could twist the bulkheads and cause a mis-alignment of the center differential.
Drop the center differential into place (note the direction). Place the upper gear cover into place and secure with the four screws.
