Here’s a great new radio setup from Hot RC – the DS-4A One-Handed Transmitter. The DS-4A is great for those wanting to drive one-handed (say, perhaps to video with the other hand) or require a one-handed transmitter due to a disability (we actually have a close friend that races – and he only has one arm!).’
The transmitter is set up similar to a flight stick – a pistol-style handle with a trigger (for throttle and brake) and then, on the face, a thumb stick for movement as well as a pushbuttons, knobs and a D-pad for filtering through the trims.

What We Like:
We actually think this is a really cool product. If it works as intended, a one-handed radio system would be great for those wanting to video or with some sort of disability. There’s also some unique functions included that seem fun – cruise control being one of them!
What We’re Not Sure About:
At the moment, we’re not sure how to get it. It seems it’s a bulk-purchasable item, more for OEM vehicles than a single-sell item. Too bad…
