RC Suspension Tuning Guide – Axle Height

RC Tuning - Axle Height

What is Axle Height?
Some vehicles (like off-road or Formula 1 cars) allow you to move the front axle up or down a certain distance from center. This is typically achieved by placing spacers either above (to lower the axle) or below (to raise the axle).

Keeping the Axle in the middle position (equal shims above and below the steering block) is best for most conditions. It will give the best feel of enter and exit steering.
