Two new 1/8 scale releases from Maverick RC (in conjunction with HPI Europe) include the DesertWolf 4WD Buggy and TimberWolf 4WD Short Course Truck, both lightweight platforms that come loaded with super-fast, waterproof brushless systems capable of handling 3S of potent LiPo power!
Featuring a unique two piece aluminum/plastic tub chassis, these ‘wolves’ include 3 all-metal gear differentials, aluminum motor mounts, 3mm aluminum shock towers, long-stroke oil-filled shocks and complete hex hardware. Other cool features like an anti-vibration ESC mounting plate and built-in wire-routing clips are also standard.
Electronics are also included and installed, featuring an 80A, waterproof ESC, 4000kV brushless motor and 9Kg metal-geared servo, all controlled by a 2.4GHz radio system. The receiver even sits in it’s own water-resistant radio box.
