Eat. Sleep. RC. February 2016 Giveaway Update – AKA Tires

Eat. Sleep. RC. February 2016 Giveaway Update – AKA Tires

Since our Team Associated SC5M is a race-level Short Course truck, it’s only appropriate that we outfit it with some race-level shoes. AKA is a relatively new company to RC racing, but that doesn’t mean that they’re ‘new’ to RC.

AKA is headed up by 3 of the biggest names in RC; Mark Pavidis, Gil Losi Jr. and Joel Johnson. All of these guys have traveled the world circuit and won World Championships in different classes, so it’s safe to say they know their stuff! Using there years of knowledge, they created AKA – a now major name in RC tires!

AKA has donated a set of their new Roadblock SC tires, a tread that is designed to work on a variety of surfaces from grass to asphalt. They come molded in the companies soft compound and filled with red, closed-cell inserts. So, if you’re a first time RC’er or a seasoned veteran, the Roadblocks will keep your new SC5M firmly planted to the ground!

If you haven’t signed up for a chance to win this car, I suggest heading over to EatSleepRC.com and filling out the form.
