If you’re like me, you may have quite a few unused RC cars sitting around, waiting for another lease on life. That may be the case for my 2 Tamiya TA07 rides – just sitting collecting dust.
Until now – check out the killer new FF77, a FWD chassis conversion kit from Exotek!
This kit comes with everything you need to convert your TA07 into a radical FWD, changing the look and performance of your TC! Designed with a modern mid/front motor placement for improved balance and cornering speeds, the FF77 has remarkable agility and able to carve corners and carry more speed on medium to high grip tracks.
Features of the FF77 include:
• Heavy duty one-piece aluminum servo mount
• Aluminum steering rack that rolls on 4 precision bearings
• Short, heavy duty S3M348 Aramid front belt
• Adjustable battery mount design – carbon battery cups let you move the battery forward or back for weight bias
• Lightweight, one-piece 7075 aluminum motor mount lowes both the pulley (by 3mm) and motor (by 1mm) for better CoG.
• Top plate does not connect to the motor plate, ensuring front and rear chassis flex for improved traction
• USA-made 2mm carbon fiber lower plate/upper plate
• Steering turnbuckles, mounting hardware and instructions are all included
So, yeah. This is on my list of to-gets. Been wanting a reason to get back into FWD racing!!!!
