Reefs RC Multi Tool Hex/Nut Drivers | CompetitionX

Reefs RC has announced a set of multi tools for use in power drivers like the Makita DF012DSE. These tools come in two sets – a hex bit set that includes 5 bits: .05, 1.0, 2.0, 2.5 and 3.0 and a nut driver set that contains 4 bits: 4.0, 5.5, 7.0 and 8.0. All of them have a 5mm hex top to help lock them securely into your driver device of choice!

What We Like:
These appear to be similar to other bits on the market with heat-treated shanks, precision-ground tips and a nice 5mm hex top. We like the size of each etched into the mounting hex, making it easy to see the one you need (if the size of the tip doesn’t give it away). We also like that they’re a bit less expensive than the top-rivaling company, making them a good solution for budget-minded people.

What We’re Not Sure About:
We wish that tools like this would be offered with slightly longer shanks. Having short shanks like these makes them sometimes difficult to use in more complex spaces.
