It was only a matter of time – the amazing Hyrax tire from Pro-Line Racing is now available in 1/6 scale! This is great news for those that own the new Axial SCX6 as these tires are among the best crawling tire out there. While not super scale, they do provide amazing performance on just about any terrain. Molded in their G8 compound, they are sold in pairs and include open-cell foam inserts.
What We Like:
We’re tried quite a few different types of tires and found the Hyrax to be quite amazing! The ability to climb up any surface is crazy and perform quite well even in a worn out stage. We’re interested to see how well they perform on a much heavier vehicle like the SCX6!
What We’re Not Sure About:
Tires are great, foams are just meh. I would suggest getting some sort of dual stage inner foam setup if you really want to see the performance of these tires!
