Kraken RC, known for their stellar Vekta.5 1/15 scale offroad buggy, have just released info on their newest 1/5 scale ride, the Vesla.5.
This rig is all new and will come in two versions – electric and gas. It will come in RTR trim as a 2WD (RWD) and includes a 2.4GHz radio system and high-end servos. The gas version will include an engine (CC to be announced soon) while the E-version comes with a 780kV motor and a 200A ESC that is rated for up to 8S LiPo power!
This rig has the same footprint as the HPI Baja, even have the same look and feel as that OG 1/5 scaler!
What We Like:
Kraken has always done a great job with their 1/5 scale rigs, so we’re really looking forward to seeing how well this buggy goes. We’re more interested in the E-version but would be happy checking out the gas one as well! Love the look!
What We’re Not Sure About:
As with most large-scale rides, the Vesla.5 is not cheap – around $1700 for the E-version and $1600 for the gas.
