HPI showed off their Abu Dhabi 4WD Nitro WR8 a couple weeks ago, getting everyone hyped up for a bad-ass rally car. Now they’ve thrown out a Flux version of that same car at the 2012 Nurnberg show in Germany. I’ve driven some Flux versions of HPI’s cars and all I can say is that this is going to be on sick rally rocket!
The chassis layout appears similar to all the other 1/8th scale brushless vehicles out there…battery on the left, electronics and motor on the right. I do see some aluminum shock towers and beefy motor mount as well as a sealed receiver box. Looks like HPI has included a full set of anti-roll bars, too!
Check back here for a full feature list in the near future!
