The new Tamiya Cross Spear 01 is a low and sleek looking Mini 4WD model that sits on the VZ chassis. It is the product of Japanese designer Takayuki Yamazaki, the man responsible for other releases like the DCR-01, DCR-02 and the Ray Spear.
This chassis is molded in a very cool-looking light gray and black. The body is crazy, with cuts and forms all leading back to the wide rear wing. There’s also a helmeted driver figure integrated into the cockpit – nice touch.
Fluorescent 6-spoke spiral wheels are wrapped in hard, low-profile tires.
