Tamiya is giving us a new ride to commemorate their 30th Anniversary of Mini 4WD – the Hurricane Sonic!
This car rides on the AR Chassis and has a very Vanguard feel to it. The Hurricane Sonic, however, comes with a polycarbonate shell thanks to it’s Anniversary status. It also has yellow hurricane-ish wheels and slick tires (no stats yet on the compound). This should be a great car for the Box Stock class!

What We Like:
We’ve tried out Vanguard out (a similar version of the Hurricane) and it’s done well, however the addition of the polycarbonate body should really push this ride over the top in the handling department.
What We’re Not Sure About:
Not a big fan of the color of the wheels – black or white would have been better.
