AVID RC has some cool new parts for you Team Associated RC8B3 owners. First up are two different versions of their new aluminum shock standoffs. The ‘standard’ set work with the kit-supplied aluminum shock towers. The ‘option’ standoffs are a -1mm version that works with AVID’s new carbon fiber shock towers. Both sets are 7075-T6 aluminum that are hard anodized with a laser-etched AVID logo on them.
Carbon fiber front and rear shock towers are next on the list. The front is 5mm thick while the rear is 4mm. Both have been designed with the standoff pockets removed to increase strength and prevent splitting. The package comes with a front and rear tower as well as 4 -1mm standoffs. The holes are in the same locations as the stock towers.
