AVID is proud to announce our new piston tuning table. It is a 1 page reference for racers to print/save and keep in your toolbox, smart phone, setup notebook, or jammed inside your radio case. The goal of the piston table was to provide recommendation on what pistons/oil to use as a standard setup, and then to dictate which pistons you would change to for changes in grip, large jumps, and smooth or bumpy conditions. For example, a racer might change from the standard 2 x 1.6 hole setup to the 4 hole 1.5/1.1 setup when the track with larger jumps gets bumpy, or the car feels like it needs more grip.
