Axial UTB18 Capra Unlimited Trail Buggy | CompetitionX

Axial’s latest release is the UTB18 Capra, a 1/18 scale version of their popular Capra Trail Buggy. It comes in RTR trim complete with a tube chassis design, portal axles and a 4-link suspension with stainless steel links. Officially licensed Nitto Trail Grappler tires are wrapped around Raceline wheels with, an interior with a pair of figures and LED lighting is standard equipment.

It’s available in two colors – black and gray.

What We Like:
Personally, we love the look of it. Axial nailed the cab, tube frame, wheel and tire combo and the performance. The LED lighting is a nice touch as well.

What We’re Not Sure About:
It’s a neat product, we’re just not sure how well the crawling community is going to accept it. They are always grasping for more, but NEW more, not a revised or shrunken down version of something already out there. We think it was an attempt at a cool product for Christmas, but at $250, it’s a bit outside the price point for a 1/18 scale rig.
