Topping the Jumpshot MT is a sporty-looking body covered in HPI’s signature orange and black. We really wanted to keep it, but knew that a custom-painted body was definitely in store.
So, we gave a call to Pro-Line Racing and they sent over one of their Ford F-150 Raptor SVT bodies – a killer looking shell that is actually a bit thicker than the stock body. It is molded in extra-thick Genuine GE Lexan and will be perfect for anyone learning to drive – it should hold up to quite a bit of abuse!
The original body comes clear with an overspray film, window masks and a detailed sticker sheet with the grill, lights, door handles and a few other items. Pro-Line has done a fantastic job in replicating the actual look of the officially-licensed Raptor, right down to the 3 grille lights!
We couldn’t leave it clear, though, so we had Larry Genova over at Kustom RC Graphics pour some paint on it; the final result is awesome! Larry does paint jobs for some of the top names in the industry. Now you can be included in that list!
