What We Like:
I actually solder alot and have been using the same iron for about 15 years. It’s old and gets the job done, but also requires 3 other ‘helper’ items to manage it all. I’m loving this new unit from EcoPower – much smaller footprint than the one I have, digital display to help me keep track of the temp, and the brass wool AND sponge in the base. AND, it also comes with helping hands and a solder spool holder! Everything I need in ONE unit. Oh, and the entire thing is about 1/2 of what I paid for my original. Kind of a no brainer here if you do your own soldering.

What We’re Not Sure About:
Nothing – looks like a killer deal on a nice soldering station.
