Exotek, known for some pretty cool RC conversions, has dropped yet another for the No-Prep Drag Racing scene – the 22 Vader Drag Chassis!
This chassis is designed as a conversion for the TLR 22 buggy and comes with everything you need to go from offroader to quarter-miler:
– Heavy duty 2.5mm carbon fiber chassis and side rail plates
– Aluminum servo mount that ties into the side rails for extra rigidity
– Six heavy duty aluminum side rail posts
– Heavy duty aluminum front kickup plate
– Four-position shorty LiPo mounting to adjust weight bias for for wheelie/no wheelie balance
– Double-deck chassis design allows you to lower or raise the center of gravity for stability
– Gear box stays high to increase traction and keep the drive axles straight for higher speeds
– Offers multiple weight balance options to maximize grip on the street or on the track
– Includes a 3mm carbon fiber front shock tower to run a lower ride height as well as allow the use of a street eliminator body mount kit (Traxxas #TRA1914R)
– Includes a carbon fiber rear body mount plate that bolts to the stock 22 wing mounts for use with the Traxxas #TRA1914R body post set
– Includes a stand-up 3-gear Exotek slotted motor plate
– Includes all-steel hardware
– Includes Exotek stickers and instruction sheet
All the aluminum parts are finished in glossy black and silver cut to match the stock 5.0 look.
While I don’t have a 22, this certainly makes me want to get one!
