New from Exotek Racing – Twister air-filled Pro Drag Tire and Wheel combo!
This new Twister combo includes a set of premium rubber tires that use the same chemistry as popular 28R Touring Car tires. They feature a wide profile with a tall sidewall on both sides of the tire to improve flex consistency. A special thin belting is added to reduce tire growth under high loads.
The biggest feature, however, is the fact that these tires don’t come with inserts – instead, they are air-filled! This allows you to adjust pressures at the track to suit your needs!
Designed to work with most of the street eliminator cars on the market: B6, 22S, 22 5.0, DR10, Slash and similar 2WD Drag cars.

What We Like:
While not a new idea, Exotek might be the first company to release an actual full-production set of wheels and tires that use air instead of an foam insert. It’s a great solution to different track conditions – a quick up or down in air pressure can make a huge difference in traction, something a foam insert-based tire can’t do (unless you mount ANOTHER set of foam-insert tires). We’re also liking the non-SC based wheels – seems like there would be way more consistent flex on both sides of the tire.
What We’re Not Sure About:
Nothing, other than the fact you have to buy Exotek wheels as well. But, then again, the tires come with the wheels so…
