Gmade is pulling out all the stops with the release of their next crawler – the Komodo. This bad-ass looking rig is rolls off the assembly line geared to take it to the likes of Axial and Vaterra with it’s 4-link suspension, steel ladder frame, adjustable battery plate and a sealed receiver box that resembles an actual engine. G-Transition aluminum shocks are standard as are the unique, one-piece graphite axle housing and transmission with dust proof cover.
It comes loaded with quite a few other goodies, but the coolest part is the body and all the scale bits included with it. The pickup body is made from 1.5mm Lexan and includes a separate, molded front grille, light buckets, door handles and windshield wipers (and grille). To boost the scale appearance, the Komodo also comes with scale parts like a snorkel, heavy duty bumpers, roof rack, sand ladders, hook and shovel.
The Komodo rides on 1.9″ beadlocks wrapped with 1.9″ M/T off-road tires with some pretty aggressive tread.
This entire package looks awesome and I can’t wait to get one. Not available, just yet, you can pre-order yours from RCMart now at this link: http://www.rcmart.com/gs01-komodo-p-63566.html.
