Hitec DB778WP Ultra Torque Low Profile Servo | CompetitionX

Hitec has been coming on strong with their latest servos, including this new DB778WP Ultra Torque Low Profile Servo.

The DB778WP includes features like a brushless motor, IP-67 waterproof rating and is fully programmable via the DPC11 or HFP-30 program units. It stands a tiny 1.04″ high, making it a great alternative for vehicles that require a stand-up LP servo.

Specs are good as well – .08 speed and a max torque of 283oz (both at 8.4v).

What We Like:
We’ve been a LONG time fan of Hitec servos and use them in all of our racing applications. They’re strong, reliable and have never let us down. IF we had a need for the DB778WP, we’d not hesitate to drop it in and give it a go.

What We’re Not Sure About:
