Kyosho has announced a 60th Anniversary Edition of their Phantom EP 4WD 1/12 scale ride. This car will come share all of the features as the original re-release, however all of the aluminum parts will be anodized gold.

Features
• The 12th edition of the Kyosho Vintage Series is a special edition of the on-road male Phantom EP-4WD Ext
• All aluminum parts are gold anodized only for the 60th anniversary model
• The design of the original model released in 1985 While following along, each part has been brushed up to match modern R/C mechanics and power sources
• Ladder chain type 4WD on-road racer that demonstrates high stability even on low-grip road surfaces
• Made of black FRP that achieves both moderate flexibility and strength Double deck chassis style. The front is also equipped with a reinforcing plate
• The standard and highly reliable 3-point suspension system for 1/12 EP racers
• Dial-type oil dampers for easy spring tension adjustment.
• Equipped with a lightweight and high-strength φ6 carbon rear shaft as standard
• Wheel fixing nuts are also gold. Dedicated lightweight bolts are available for the differential housing.
• Optional parts for the existing Phantom EP-4WD Ext can also be installed.
• Chassis kit requires assembly and comes with pre-glued front and rear tires and unpainted body.

What We Like:
Honestly, we LOVE the look of this ride with the gold anodizing. It’s also cool to see Kyosho doing something special with this car for their 60th Anniversary and keeping it with a reasonable price tag. We’re pretty sure they won’t have a hard time selling out of these.

What We’re Not Sure About:
60th Anniversary. 60 years. Maybe release a string of vintage Kyosho rides with this designation…
