Kyosho has added a new ride to their FZ02 ReadySet platform and added a D (for Drift) signature to it. Meet the Phaser Mk2 2005 Ford Mustang drift car!
This new ride comes fully-assembled with Kyosho’s standard electronics – high-torque servo, Synchro KT-231P+ radio system, G14L brushed motor and brushed ESC. It also features oil-filled shocks, a shaft-driven 4WD drivetrain and a modular design for easy repairs or maintenance.
On the outside, Kyosho has added a stunning 2005 Ford Mustang drift body complete with flashy livery, 5-spoke wheels, drift tires and a huge rear wing.
What We Like:
Oddly enough, it’s actually kind of nice to see an OLDER year model of the Mustang hit the shelves! It does look good and the wheel/tire combo compliments it as well. We know that this drivetrain can handle some increased power as well, so burning a hole in these tires shouldn’t be all that difficult.
What We’re Not Sure About:
Overall, the look of the Mustang is cool, however that rear wing seems a bit overkill. Maybe it’s just us…
