There’s a new motor company sneaking into the racing ranks and word has it that they’re very fast! Meet Maclan Racing and their new MMR series of 1:10 sensored brushless motors.
On the outside, the Maclan motors start with a CNC-machined, 6061 aluminum can with vent holes for cooling. The solder tabs have been designed with a concave shape to better ‘grip’ the wire and provide excellent wire contact. On the inside, the stator is designed for the lowest internal resistance, and the high-grade copper wire helps circulate the power for maximum output.
The Maclan motors are completely rebuildable and are ROAR/IFMAR legal. They come in turns from 3.5 to 25.5.
