Mon-Tech Patrol Rock Crawler Body | CompetitionX

The Patrol is a new 1/10 scale crawler body from the gang over at Mon-Tech. It is pulled from .75mm polycarbonate and is designed to fit 313-315mm wheelbase trail trucks.

Notable items on the Patrol are the ‘stepped’ front end with large bumper, hood scoop, single-cab and a short bed with almost zero rear overhang. The body comes clear with window masks and a decal sheeet.

What We Like:
The Patrol is definitely different, looking like something more for performance than scale. The tall, wide fenders will allow plenty of articulation before contact as will the very short bed (even if it looks a little funny). This might be a great body for those that want a little more from their trucks than just a mall-crawler.

What We’re Not Sure About:
While it’s not the most attractive body out there, we do think a nice paint job could very well spice up the look a bit.
