New from MST is this wildly-cool RWD drift car – the FXX 2.0. This car features a whole new design with a CNC-cut chassis that has been tweaked for a better weight distribution.
At first glance, you’ll notice the motor is sitting up front in a transverse mounting position, connected to a motor mount and shaft drive system to the rear wheels. This allows for the weight up front and RWD, but also removes alot of the pendulum effect rear-weight-bias cars suffer from.
The steering system is also new with pieces made of aluminum for precision and strength. The geometry is such that, when at full lock, gives the tires an amazing angle of attack, exactly what RWD drift drivers are looking for.
A new rear suspension is connected by an elevated driveshaft, allowing for a wide range of electronics to fit.
This car looks awesome and should prove to be quite competitive on the drift scene. Now who do I contact to get one of these!
