MST has announced something a little different – the GPX 1/5 scale Motorcycle.
The GPX appears to be past the design stage – almost a production ready bike. From the design drawings it appears the bike will have spring-loaded front forks, a single rear shock, chain drive, a low mounted battery and possibly a mini-servo actuating the steering. Disc brakes also appear to included.
The rider figure will most likely be styrene-based and appears to be similar to Kyosho’s Hang-On rider; using a ‘swing seat’ to let the rider lean into the corners.
I used to race the Thunder Tiger motorcycle a LONG time ago and really enjoyed it – it’s a different form or driving that challenging yet absolutely rewarding at the same time. Would be interested in trying the GPX for sure!
