Mugen Seiki MBX8R Eco 1/8 Electric Buggy Kit | CompetitionX

Mugen Seiki has announced the E-version of their successful MBX8R kit. Titled the Eco, this buggy has been updated from the previous version with new parts to increase stability, handling, and jumping.

New for the MBX8R Eco:
• New suspension mounts with longer suspension arms (and integrated arm stiffeners)
• New front shock tower and upper arm mount
• New 4S shorty LiPo battery mount
• New High-Traction Differentials (HTD) that increase acceleration and provide more consistent handling
• New lightweight high-downforce rear wing with aluminum wing buttons
• New anti-roll bar collars
• New shock caps
• New lightweight center diff cover

What We Like:
1/8 scale E-buggies are always fun to drive, so we’re happy to see Mugen Seiki updating their current platform with new refinements. Something we’re really liking, though, is the ability to use a 4S shorty LiPo. Really, with battery technology getting better and better, it makes sense to do go this route for both weight savings and balance.

What We’re Not Sure About:
Nothing, actually. This ride looks really good!
