Pro-Line Racing 1978 Chevy K10 Body Set – Axial SCX6 | CompetitionX

It looks like the body sets for Axial’s SCX6 are starting to trickle in with Pro-Line Racing dropping a fully-licensed 1978 Chevrolet K10 body set!

This body is big, as in 1/6 scale big, and will give your large-scale trail truck a super-scale, retro-classic look. It is molded from 2mm thick polycarbonate with features like lightly flared, Chevy-angular fenders, dropped bed and signature Bow Tie grille. It comes clear, obviously, with an overspray film, window masks and a detailed sticker sheet.

What We Like:
We’re loving the big ol’ Chevy look and the very detailed decal sheet. This body is going to lend itself well to a ton of different paint schemes, from new to old.

What We’re Not Sure About:
Unfortunately, a couple things. One, for the sake of looks, it should have a longer bed behind the rear wheel and two, the drop bed COULD be more pronounced (I guess this depends on the design of the shock towers, etc). Some might say the price, but it’s quite a bit more plastic than a 1/10 scale rig so I’m not sure you’re going to get away from that.
