Pro-Line has rolled a pair of Pony cars off the assembly line – a 1999 Mustang for the 1/10 scale Drag scene and a 2021 Mustang for the 1/8 scale ARRMA Vendetta road rocket! Body bodies look great and feature lots of on-body details – the 1999 has an aggressive hood scoop and massive rear deck wing while the 2021 has dual hood scoops and a beautiful raked stance. The 1999 will fit most Drag cars including the Losi 22S, Slash 2WD conversions and the Team Associated DR10. The 2021 will fit both the ARRMA Vendetta and Infraction.
Both bodies come clear with a detailed decal sheet and protective overspray film.
What We Like:
The 1999 is low and sleek and will certainly excite the older generation Mustang lovers. It looks super aggressive with the raked stance and huge rear deck wing. The 2021 is a welcome site for the larger-scale ARRMA crowd and will look crazy cool ripping around on that 1/8 scale platform. Both are just really good looking cars!
What We’re Not Sure About:
While both cars do keep the general look of the originals, PL has tweaked the look a bit for more function, especially the 1999 Mustang. I love the look of both but the hardcore Mustang crowd may not be as, umm, understanding.
