Pro-Line Racing has added a new set of drag wheels and tires to their library. This combo is super narrow and ultra light, using a 2.2″ outer bead and 2.7″ inner bead to reduce rubber weight.
What We Like:
A lighter car is a faster car, especially in drag racing, however we never thought about reducing weight this way – quite ingenious! We also like that this setup eliminates the need for a foam insert, giving the tire a nice, firm design while reducing sidewall squirm.
What We’re Not Sure About:
Nothing. Another great idea from PL for those looking to get every advantage out of their No Prep Drag car!
