ProTek RC has dropped three new performance servos for hardcore racing enthusiasts – the PTK-575, the PTK-815 and the PTK-381.
The PTK-575 is a low profile, high-torque servo that is designed for a variety of 1/10 scale onroad and offroad racing. It’s housed in a anodized aluminum-heatsink case with a full set of steel gears and has an operating speed of .055 and 575oz of torque at 8.4v. It also comes with an aluminum clamping servo horn and mounting washers. $119.99 – https://alnk.to/aeZaLUk
The PTK-815 is a mid-size servo that also features an aluminum heatsink case, steel gears and the same clamping horn and mounting washers. However, this bad boy is geared more towards carpet onroad and offroad racers that need a little more grunt – the PTK-815 boasts an operating speed of .050 and a whopping 815oz of torque at 8.4v. What We Like:
We’ve used alot of servos over the years but have to say that ProTek does have quite the amazing selection of options for whatever type of racing (or bashing) you plan on doing. Their servos always look great but also just work – we have no complaints about these at all.
What We’re Not Sure About:
Nothing.
