If you’re installing a Castle Creations Mamba X 8S ESC into your ARRMA Kraton or Outcast 8S, you’re going to want one of these new ESC cages from RPM RC Products.
What We Like:
First off, it’s made from RPM’s engineering grade nylon, making it super strong. It also has multiple mount points on the bottom (to secure to the chassis) and on top (to lock the ESC in place). It basically encapsulates your ESC. Even the switch has a clamped upper piece and can be mounted in one of two different directions depending on your setup. This cage will keep your ESC in place no matter what your plan is with your ARRMA ride.
What We’re Not Sure About:
We’ve seen these cages in use before and they work great – what we’d like to see added is possibly some sort of wire management system right off the ESC.
