Schelle Racing Nova Slipper Lockout Set

Schelle Racing Nova Slipper Lockout Set

Stock racing is all about getting as much power to the ground as possible. One area that gets easily overlooked is the slipper clutch; it’s a heavy combination of parts that, in most cases, doesn’t really need to be used.

Schelle Racing has released a new Nova Lockout Set; basically a couple of lightweight parts that replace the entire slipper clutch unit. It includes a CNC-machined aluminum backplate, lockout plate and an aluminum tube. Installation is easy – remove the slipper clutch assembly, slide the aluminum plate and lockout plate onto each side of the Nova spur gear and replace. The aluminum tube takes the place of the slipper spring.

Now, before you run out and pick one of these up, know that running without a slipper clutch can be a little challenging but and requires a good amount of throttle control but, once you get the hang of it, you’ll be out-accelerating and out-jumping the competition and on your way to the winner’s circle!

Suggested only for stock buggy racers.

SCH1303 Schelle Racing Nova Buggy Lockout Set – $25.00
SCH1316 Schelle Racing Nova Lockout Back Plate and Tube – $8.50
