Serpent’s new SPYDER SRX2 MH a pretty trick car, offering two transmission layouts for differing track conditions.
Billy Easton, former 2WD World Champ and designer of the SRX2 MH, has included both a 3-gear upright and 3-gear laydown transmission; the 3-gear upright is for low to medium traction tracks (LMT) while the 3-gear laydown is for medium to high bite tracks (MHT).
In addition to the upright and laydown transmissions, the kit itself comes with many features you’d expect from a high-performance buggy; a narrow, hard-anodized 7075 T6 aluminum chassis, Big Bore 12mm shocks, composite shock towers, ball diff, 3-pad slipper clutch and a carbon fiber battery strap. A low-profile mid-hybrid body is also included.
This is sure to be a pretty awesome buggy, and we’re working on getting one for review. Stay tuned!
