A couple days ago we reported on a new FWD offering from Serpent. Well, it’s here and we’ve got a few more pix to show you!
Here’s a quick overview of the main specs provided from Serpent:
-New adjustable 50mm shocks with 12mm Big Bore shock bodies and machined pistons
-New Serpent Linear Big Bore springs
-Anti-roll bar is completely ball-raced for smoothness
-Pivot ball suspension uses small balls for simplicity
-4x-style arm mounts with adjustable caster
-Easy front spool/diff removal system
-Extremely low CoG
-New steering system for Ackermann geometry
-Motor mount holder with adjustable flex
-Re-active rear steering (RRS) system is included
-1-piece shaft and motor mount allows easy maintenance and changing of spur gears
-Durable fluid-filled gear differential and lightweight front aluminum spool – both included
-Battery mounting system offers optional layouts for balance
-2.5mm carbon fiber chassis
-Front DJC system made out of spring-steel prevents wheel chatter
-Even-length Kevlar reinforced drive belt
-Midshaft pulleys made out of hard anodized aluminium for maximum durability and super-true running
This looks like it might be a really good car – now if we can just get back to racing so we can get one to run!
