T-Works Lightweight Aluminum Wing Washer Screws | CompetitionX

T-Works Lightweight Aluminum Wing Washer Screws | CompetitionX

Wing buttons aren’t new, however T-Works RC has taken it a step further with these new aluminum Wing Washer Screws!

These option parts take the 3 piece button idea (screw, button and nut) and combine the screw and button into one piece. Machined from aluminum, they are then anodize in one of 5 colors – blue, green, gold, black and red. The center has a 2.0mm broach machined in with 6 holes around the outside for weight savings. A pair of locknuts are also included to help pin your rear wing into place.

What We Like:
The original 3-part design wasn’t all that tricky to use, however this new setup is kind of trick. We love the color options and included nuts – just makes the whole system look a bit cleaner.

What We’re Not Sure About:
Because of how soft aluminum is, the screw portion might become an issue after continued use (and hard crashes). Only time will tell.
