Tamiya is re-releasing their stunning 1/12 scale Brabham BT44B coated in the Martini livery. This model kit is gorgeous and now includes some fancy new updates to make it even better, mainly the photo-etched parts and Cartograf decal sheets.
What We Like:
We all know Tamiya is the master of model kits and the re-release of this particular one is pretty exciting. We love the look of the old-school F1 cars – fat rear tires, tiny cockpit with low slung front end and, of course, the massive air box inlet towering over the driver’s head. This kit is super detailed and, to show it off, allows the removal of the front fairing, cocking fairing and induction box to display all your hard work underneath. It really is a stunning kit.
What We’re Not Sure About:
Besides the fact there are a bazillion pieces, you do have to build it. If you’re not a model builder, that can be a problem.
