Tamiya has 9 New Releases at the Nuremberg Toy Fair

The 2018 Nuremberg Toy Fair is about to go down in Germany next week and Tamiya will be there with 9 new models! There are some pretty exciting releases, let’s take a quick look at them!

42318 TRF103 F1 Chassis Kit
There is a new F1 on the way that comes with 2 different rear suspension setups; a link for high-grip and a T-bar for slippery tracks. It features all kinds of high-end carbon fiber parts with lots of aluminum goodies! It’s also compatible with all of Tamiya’s F104 bodies.

47366 Plasma Edge II Black Metallic (Limited Edition)
Based on the TT-02B chassis, the 4WD limited-edition buggy will come with a finished polycarbonate body and wing, black nylon wheels, 4-wheel independent suspension and a sealed front and rear gearbox. Also includes a TBLE-02S ESC and 540-type Torque-Tuned motor.

47367 Manta Ray 2018 (Limited Edition)
The original Manta Ray was released in 1990 – this limited edition re-re will include much of the same features however updated for 2018. Honeycomb tub, CVA oil dampers, shaft-drive 4WD drivetrain, 3-piece steering and aero-dish wheels with big spikey tires are all included. The poly body and wing are coated with the original-design stickers!

47370 Isuzu mu Type X (Limited Edition)
The Isuzu made its debut in 1995, re-released as a limited edition on Tamiya’s CC-01 chassis. The 3-door Isuzu mu body is injection-molded with separate body parts for added realism. Matte-plated wheels are wrapped in realistic tires, allowing the AWD CC-01 chassis to rock and roll on a variety of terrain. Includes Tamiya’s TBLE-02S ESC and 540 motor.

47372 Subaru Impreza Mexico 2004 (Limited Edition)
Tamiya has modeled this Subie in the livery used on the real Impreza the ran in the 2004 WRC season in Mexico. It is based on the TT-01 chassis and features a shaft-driven 4WD drivetrain, gold wheels with rally tires and a killer-looking body with separate body parts. It accepts a large range of TT-01 option parts and comes with a the TBLE-02S ESC and 540 brushed motor.

47275 Mitsubishi Pajero Metaltop (Limited Edition)
Tamiya has recreates the Pajero in a black metallic option. It sits on a CC-01 chassis and features a full-time 4WD system, a sticker set with German license plates, double-wishbone 4-link suspension and options for a 4-LED lighting system. Includes Tamiya’s TBLE-02S ESC and 540 brushed motor.

56357 Mercedes-Benz Arocs 3348 6×4 Tipper Truck
Another addition to Tamiya’s rig-series is this MB Arocs 6×4. Lots of cool features are included, like a realistic ladder frame with metal subframe, 3-axles and 3-speed transmission and leaf spring suspension. Injection molded body has tons of detail and is compatible with the Actuator Set with realistic bed motion. Includes a TR mighty-tuned 35T motor.

58655 Citroen 2CV Charleston
A stunning recreation of the 2CV, this Citroen is molded on the M-05 chassis. It’s a FWD kit that includes separate parts for the body, a TBLE-02S ESC, 540 motor and a capable 4-wheel independent suspension. It is compatible with all of Tamiya’s M-05 option parts.
