Tamiya’s new TA-07 Pro chassis is quite an interesting design. It used a composite lower deck with a unique, upper frame setup. The upper frame also doubles as a chassis stiffener. Front and rear gearboxes and a centrally located motor mount route the single, extremely long drive belt from front to back. The motor itself can be mounted in 3 different locations, each tweaking the performance of the car.
The TA-07 Pro uses the TRF419 suspension, gear diffs and steering system. A full set of ball bearings are included with many other option parts coming soon.
I actually like the look of it … it’s certainly different. Time will tell about it’s performance.
