Tamiya has announced a Pro version of their TB-04 chassis kit, a shaft-driven 4WD car with a newly developed, horizontally-positioned motor placement design. A successor to their TB-03, the -04 is sure to post itself at the top of the heap in the very competitive, molded-chassis GT3 class.
Features:
• The TB-04 Pro measures 190mm in width and it will accommodate any of Tamiya’s replica and fully licensed Touring and Sports Car body sets.
• This is a limited edition 1/10 scale R/C model assembly kit. Standard base kit to be releases soon after.
• Newly-designed transmission case helps to provide increased stability during acceleration.
• The main chassis frame has a low center of gravity while offering minimized contact with the track surface.
• Oil-filled and sealed gear differentials. (front and rear)
• New differential gear features 40T ring gears and 16T bevel gears for excellent transmission.
• It uses a long steering tie-rod system refined on the TRF417 chassis.
• Newly-designed battery holder provides simple and secure attachment.
• AMB transponder can be accessed from the chassis underside.
• Users can choose between inboard and outboard front suspension. Inboard front suspension allows the use of low profile body sets.
