Tamiya has released four great new parts for their line of Touring Cars; a new carbon-pattern wing, TRF damper rod guides, TA07 front suspension arms and some low-friction suspension balls.
Racing Wing a
The first part is this Lexan racing with printed with a carbon pattern. It’s not only functional, but stylish, and is in the ‘A’ family of wings; Tamiya’s stepped version. The kit comes with a J parts tree, snap pins and o-rings for attachment.
TRF Damper Rod Guide (Hard, 4pcs.)
The next part are these rod guides for Tamiya’s TRF dampers. They are made from POM plastic that is harder than the original parts and are less prone to warping after a long period of use. They are compatible with all the TRF dampers.
TA07 D Parts (Suspension Arms, Medium)
Next up, TA07 front suspension arms molded in a ‘medium’ stiffness material. These arms are an intermediate flex, fitting between the fiberglass reinforced plastic (soft) and the carbon reinforced plastic (stiff). Their suggested use is on low-grip tracks. They come as one front and one rear, so you will need two sets to complete your car.
Low Friction Resin 5mm Suspension Ball (8pcs.)
The final part are these low-friction suspension balls. They are molded from POM resin to a 5mm size and are designed to work on TRF419X kits. They provide sticky-free operation and come in a set of 8.
