Team Associated has announced the release of a .2 version of their TC6 Factory Team Kit. Enhancing the output of an already experienced ROAR and BRCA National winning chassis, the A-Team has updated a few parts to not only help optimize performance but also make maintenance and repairs much simpler.
New for the TC6.2 is an updated bulkhead, top plate and chassis set up that allows flex to be optimized by disconnecting the drivetrain bulkheads and suspension mounting systems. Also new is the TC6’s independent arm mount system features interchangeable toe inserts and pivot ball joints, allowing the racer to dial-in the suspension. Optimized ballstud positions are connected with eyelet ball cups and blue titanium turnbuckles, adding up to an easier-to-tune platform with even more precise suspension adjustments than before.
A new, floating servo mount is incorporated that not only improves steering control but also offers an increased area for mounting the ESC and receiver. The TC6.2 retains the H.D.R.C. (High Definition Roll Control) system and lightweight rear gear differential, as well as the A-Team’s fantastic Factory Team VCS3 shocks feature hard-anodized threaded bodies with bottom-loaded seals. Rounding out the upgrades, Team Associated has included 22 precision ball bearings to keep the drivetrain as free as possible for the least amount of drag.
