Team Associated RC10B64 Team Kit

Team Associated RC10B64 Team Kit

Team Associated hasn’t forgotten all you carpet/turf folks – the new B64 Team Kit is the same awesome car with specific parts for high bite carpet tracks!

Changes from the B64D are small; center slipper clutch, different driveshaft, springs, anti-roll bars and caster blocks. Other than that, the Team Kit is exactly the same as the B64D. These parts optimize the 4-wheeler for turf, giving it a grand advantage over dirt-only rides.

So, if your local track is all about the turf, this is the 4-wheeler for you!

  1. I am always going to run an RC 10 myself. I had the original RC 10 and I am still running the RC 10 B3. I am looking into jumping into the new model. What kind of differences could I expect making the jump?

  2. Well, if you’re talking about differences between the RC10B3 and B64 – HUGE differences! The B3 is a RWD buggy that was designed to work on normal grip dirt tracks. Today, almost every track is clay, sugared or turf, so traction is insanely different than when the B3 was king. The B64 is an AWD buggy; already a huge step up from what you have. It is touted as being the best 4WD buggy AE has produced, so you can expect excellent steering, jumping and handling. I would say that your electronics would probably work in the B64, but depending what they are, you might be a bit outclassed. It would be safe to say that jumping into the B64 would also mean a whole new set of electronics; at least the motor and ESC.

    Good luck!
