Team Associated RC8T4e Team Kit | CompetitionX

While we’re not big nitro fans, we are looking closely at Team Associated’s new RC8T4e Truggy! This beauty has alot of the same updates and upgrades as it’s nitro counterpart, with so much ‘new’ that it’s hard to wrap our heads around!

The front and rear clips are identical with the entire central part of the chassis re-configured for electric duty. Up front, the motor sits on driver’s left with the ESC, servo and receiver box on driver’s right. Right behind are two mirrored battery boxes, both able to hold standard LiPo batteries. While it’s kind of an odd look, we kind of dig how they battery boxes hang off the chassis with a floating design to help prevent them for affecting flex.

What We Like:
We love us some 1/8 E-Truggy and, while we’ve been having a blast with our current rig, the sexy low-profile look of RC8T4e has certainly caught our eye. Plus, everything on the chassis just looks so simple and well laid out that it’s just enough to draw our attention. We definitely want one!

What We’re Not Sure About:
Like the nitro truggy, this truck doesn’t come with a body. We would have loved to see a super low-profile body modeled up and included.
