Team Associated has announced a new version of their beast-mode 1/8 scale Rival MT8 Monster Truck! This new rig is similar to the previous edition and includes a full compliment of Reedy electronics – 2100kV brushless motor, 2.4GHz radio system and a 150A ESC that is capable of 4S or 6S LiPo battery!

Having that much power pushed through it, you know the A-Team have loaded this truck with all kinds of durability – 4mm thick aluminum chassis, aluminum chassis supports, an all metal gear drivetrain and some monster 16mm big bore shocks.

Also new to this ride is the “Teal” body scheme!

What We Like:
The MT8 has always been one of our favorites (even though we don’t have one – AE, hint hint), with it’s massive tires, brutally-built chassis and 6S LiPo capability. Plus, the new teal body looks great as well. The chassis layout is very 1/8 scale, so you know, with AE’s 1/8 scale racing background, this truck does have some race-winning heritage behind it.

What We’re Not Sure About:
Nothing, other than at least ONE needs some shelf space at my house.
