Team Associated’s new SR27 RTR is a 1/27 scale ride geared towards fun! These cars have the feel of a Mini-Z and can be run just about anywhere! They include some adjustments – wheelbase, track width and gear ratios – to ‘tune’ for optimized performance.

The electronics setup consists of a standalone servo, 2-in-1 ESC/receiver with built-in gyro and a micro brushed motor – all powered by rechargeable AAA batteries!

The SR27 has 2 different body styles to choose in 5 different colors:

What We Like:
These should be a fun car to play with, especially if you have a couple of them for you and your friends. The body sets looks great and they should be somewhat performance-oriented – really, it is Team Associated we are talking about here.

What We’re Not Sure About:
Odd release from them, for one. Secondly, BIG body posts … really? And third, curious if any of the actual Mini-Z parts will work with this car.
