You might know the name Team Saxo if you’ve been big into scale F1 cars, but now their name is about to be synonymous with Touring Cars. Yes, that’s right, Team Saxo has announced their 1/10 Touring Car, the GT-500.
So what makes this TC so special? How about the fact that’s it’s only 2WD! Based on a 1/10 Pan Car, the GT-500 skips the high-maintenance TC factor and let’s you get back to where the fun is at! It will accept Tamiya bodies with a wheelbase of 265mm, a width of 188mm and uses standard Touring Car wheels and tires.
With it’s simple design and easy of maintenance, the GT-500 might make a spectacular Spec-Racer. Who’s in?

Can we get a “Wheels Off” picture of the front and rear axles.
I’ve been wanting to see pan cars try this for quite some time to open the door to touring type wheels/tires.
I know CRC has similar for their F1 cars that can be adapted to a pan car.
I did some snooping but couldn’t find any pix with the tires off. However, I did just add all the manuals to the site so you can look there to see how they did it. http://www.competitionx.com/saxo-racing-manuals/.
Well I hope this is as good as it look cause I just ordered one! Can’t wait to get wrenching on it!!
Shoot some pictures over once it’s done!
