Traxxas has announced a set of Mickey Thompson Drag slicks in a new sticky compound!

These tires feature a thicker carcass for better grip and less deformation off the line. They have the same outer dimension as the stock drag slicks and include the white M/T logo on the sidewall.

These tires are available as tires only or pre-mounted on a set of Weld Racing wheels. The wheels come in 3 flavors – glass black, chrome and black or black chrome.

What We Like:
Sticky is always better in drag racing. We also love that they are the same dimensions as the stock slicks, meaning the gearing and most of the setup can be the same.

What We’re Not Sure About:
Ummm, no inserts. However, Traxxas did just launch a new insert as well…
