Video: Tamiya Formula E TC-01 Video Build – Part 4 | CompetitionX

Welcome to Part 4 of the Tamiya TC-01 Formula E GEN2 build. In this video we will assemble the front and rear differentials and driveline as well as install the front and rear upper decks.

We also cover a rapidly growing issue with the TC-01, the ESC mounting. If you are installing an ESC without a fan on top, you’re pretty much ready to go but, if your ESC DOES have a fan on top, you probably won’t be able to mount the front upper deck into place because of clearance issues.

We address this ESC clearance issue and show you an easy workaround that still allows the use of the fan.

Enjoy the video.
